Briana Ray aka Morgan Monroe found out she had Cancer in January 2013 at the the age of 21. Her doctor told her that she had stage 4 cancer (glioblastoma multiforme), and was told that she only had 2 years to live; if that. Here is her story.
Do you really know my story? Do you know the name of my cancer? Did you know that my prognosis is two years expectancy? Did you know that I did 1 round of radiation and it didn't work?? Did you know that my faith was being tested through all those treatments from a "doctor" and I decided to walk in faith and then I started seeing results. Do you really know my story, I don't think you know yet. Did you know that God has used someone at a birthday party so I could recieve my ...healing? Do you know that God is giving me a testimony? Did you know that it's been 9 months since the last time my tumor shrunk?, even though it is a "growing tumor". Did you know that my doctors are still amazed that I am doing way better than what was predicted? Did you know that I am a WARRIOR?
I started having severe headaches around October 2012 when I was 21 years old. I kept putting it off because I worked all the time. Sometime in November I got in trouble because the nursing home I was working at thought I was falling asleep. I went home to feel better and I got an extremely intense headache. When I went to work the next day I was told that I was suspended until I got a doctor.s note so I went to the doctor the very next day.I was considered a "walk in" so I was there all day. Later that day, I was given a cat-scan and was told that I had a massive tumor and that they were going to operate that day. Literally, that same day! Could you imagine? At that point the doctor had me rushed to Henry Ford Hospital. As you can see my life changed dramatically within that day. I spent three days in the hospital but they didn't operate, they gave me a surgery date which was December 21, 2012.
In the middle of my chemotherapy my aunt had introduced me to a woman named Melissa. They were telling me about these natural essential oils called doTERRA and that I should try them to help shrink my tumor. I started taking the oils I didn't feel sick. Melissa gave me three oils to use; clove, myrrh and frankincense oil. Since the 1st day using the oils I immediately noticed that I wasn't having any headaches. I took the oils for two weeks straight and I decided to go a day with them to see how I felt. I had major headache that whole day. Since that day I haven't went without them.
My next three MRI's showed my tumor was shrinking. I was told that I was headed into remission which is awesome!! My doctors are still shocked and they don't want me to get too happy because it can turn for the worst at any moment. However, I know with God's Grace that I am a survivor and he will see me through! Since meeting Melissa my tumor has never showed signs of growth and I am so grateful.
As of now, I refuse to take any chemo pills because I feel better without them. I have great faith in GOD that I am cancer free, not will be cancer free but that I AM cancer free!! As of now my tumor is stable and I am thankful. One of the issues with my diagnosis is I started to have seizures so I am unable to work or drive. My medical bills have continued to build up but I have great Faith that the Lord will see me through that as well.
