All my life I been told I'm too short to model, play basketball, professional dance, tennis, etc. Or my voice was too squeak to become an professional speaker.  Oh this one is my favorite, I should try to be a nurse because it's good money and there's never a shortage, lol. Because of that I let those comments hold me back from my dreams. Not anymore!!! I started modeling, dancing, and I'm in school majoring in Communications. Im following all my dreams  no matter how big or small, and that's something that's meaningful to me.  P.S. My momma told me I was something special, Rest in Paradise Ethel  Vae Pledger!!!!!! Thank you for always telling me to be myself and follow my dreams. I love you eternally your baby girl 

What inspires me is individuality. Especially now, we live in a time where people are complete followers. All the girls aspire to be like Beyoncé, Nicki Manaj, Kim K, etc. And dudes are all getting dreads and tattoos just to met a certain social status. UGGGH!!!! I can't take it, just be yourself!!!!! Then your trying to talk to me saying your different but you like the last guy that tried to "holla" at me. We need to stop this people!!!!!!🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫  There's nothing more sexy than someone comfortable in their own skin. I am a darker skin complexion, slim with a nice shape, I wear glasses, no tats, a few piercing, and short hair with the sides shaved. I do whatever I feel and I how feel.  On August 9, 2014, Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown, an unarmed black 18-year-old in St Louis, Missouri. The police say the black 18-year-old attacked the officer and tried to grab his gun. A friend who was with Brown says that on the contrary, he was unarmed and had his hands up in the air.                                            Chris Brown, and Friends Wilson shot and killed Brown in the early afternoon of Saturday, August 9, outside of an  apartment complex. Brown was unarmed. Hater or Nawl? Now I wanted to talk about this because, most of us confused hating with the truth. Somebody ask you for your opinion, and you tell them the honest truth; but since it is not what they want to hear they say "you just a hater" (PAUSE!) If you ask anybody for their opinion about you, about what you should do, and about how you look you got to be willing to take the bad as well as the good. Don't ask if you cant take criticism.                                                                     

This week meaningful Monday topic we well be discussing haters, fake friends, bullies and ex!! What are they and what are they're motives? First you have to learn difference. Haters - People that say rude things to you ONLY because they are jealous of you. In all reality, they wish they had what you had but they don't. Fake friends - People that pretend to befriend you, when they don't like you at all. They talk on the phone with you, hang out, text etc. They are usually the first to spill gossip about you, or betray you. They may even try to influence you to do things that would inflict harm amongst you (ex. drugs, drinking, promiscuous lifestyle, illegal activities etc.) There are many different reasons why one would do this. Ex. They don't know how to be loyal to someone (due to their own destructive past) so they dish out only what they know, They feel the comfort of knowing someone is not doing any thing with their lives just like them et.. Bullie...

Recently, this week I was on the phone with a close friend and I had someone who was in association through my friend as you will "hate" on me for no reason. Now we never had a conversation amongst one another or even as so much said hi, but she felt she had the right to talk down upon me. Now this female is a little confused in life, she has no job, a young child, no advanced college education, father of the child not present and condemned to a half way house, and lives off her father; rather than focusing on her life she wants to talk about me. The only question going through my head is how are you gonna hate on someone you don't even know? So I'm here to say you can be minding your own business and out the blue someone decides they want to hate on you, just remember to be the bigger person. Ultimately, if someone has their eyes on you it must be something that see in you that inspires them. We as a people have to stop trying to put one another down and start uplift...

We all got people that wish bad on us; that want to see us f**ked up in life, and some of us got family members that treat us like some strangers on the street. Who are they to tell you that your not good enough, and that you will never amount to nothing. They don't want to help and support you because, they don't want you doing better than them; but be the main ones with they hand out when you succeeding. Its so crazy to me.
